Examples of Reports
Here are some example of VEVA summary of activity reports, and the time that it took to
create them:
- DOI/USBR examples. Report is semi-automated through use of spreadsheet submittals. Each
report takes about six people one month each to compile. The average person compiling the report is a GS-12 and with overhead costs $180,000-$200,000
per year. Thus the cost to produce this report is $100,000 per year, not counting the time to maintain the reports, which is part of the cost and delay
issue because most do not start a report process until the time to report is called. (Two of SAMI VE LLC's value consultants designed the template
programs used by DOI in the early 90's, before the Internet.) [details]
- FHWA annual state summary reports. The reports are compiled piecemeal with much reentry
of material. Some states have some means such as that shown above. Actual cost to produce the report for over 50 reporting groups is estimated to be
over $500,000 per year. True cost is unknown. [details]
VeReporting is only showing some representative
reports for general use. However, You can examine the online options manually by going to the reports section or using the search
option. |
